Meet the Press continues to earn across the board victories this season, and June 24, 2018 was no different for “The Longest-Running Show on Television.”

MTP finished the week No. 1 in total viewers for the 3rd consecutive broadcast, and No. 1 among adults 25-54,  the demo most-valued by TV news advertisers, for its 25th consecutive broadcast. The Chuck Todd-moderated program was -1 percent in total viewers, but -12 percent in the news demo compared to the same Sunday in 2017 (June 25).

Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with Sens. Angus King (I-Maine) as well as James Lankford (R-Okla.), who said of the migrant families separated at the border, “we know where every single child is” and “the adult that they came with.”

ABC’s This Week finished No. 2 across the board, and posted its largest news demo lead over CBS in 9 weeks (since April 22). The George Stephanopoulos-anchored program also posted audience growth from the same Sunday last year, both in total viewers (+5 percent) and among adults 25-54 (+7 percent). No other Sunday show posted year-over-year growth.

CBS’s Face the Nation stumbled to a 3rd place finish across the board, even in total viewers, a measurement in which it has usually been finishing No. 2. The Margaret Brennan-moderated program was -11 percent in total viewers and -22 percent in the news demo from last year.

Fox News Sunday, which was pre-empted in many markets because of the World Cup, was down in total viewers (-3 percent) and in the news demo (-8 percent) from last year.

The trio of FNS replays on cable posted a combined 2.5 million total viewers and 498,000 demo viewers. Combined with the Fox broadcast delivery, the June 24 edition of FNS delivered a combined 3.32 million total viewers and 793,000 demo viewers.
