For the second time in three weeks, ABC’s “This Week” won in both total viewers and A25-54 viewers. It continues to be a competitive three-way race with the Sunday public affairs shows, with NBC’s “Meet the Press” second this week and CBS’ “Face the Nation,” which was first last week, dropping to third.
Compared to the same week last year, “This Week” and “Meet the Press” were both up across the board: ABC was up +25% in total viewers and +24% in the demo and NBC was up +16% and +13%, respectively. “Fox News Sunday” was up +2% in total viewers but down -18% in the demo, and “Face the Nation” and Univision’s “Al Punto” were down in both ratings measurements.
Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 1,838,000 total viewers and 269,000 A25-54 viewers. Rebroadcasts of “Meet the Press” delivered an additional 1,089,000 total viewers and 435,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 50% of the country.
