As the 2016 primary season kicks into high gear, the Sunday public affairs shows are seeing big year-over-year gains,
CBS’s Face the Nation with John Dickerson was the most-watched morning show among total viewers, while ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos was No. 1 in the A25-54 demo. This Week was up a whopping +50 in viewers and up +63 percent in the demo compared to the same Sunday last year. Fox News Sunday was also up big: +40 percent and +43 percent, respectively.
Cable replays of Fox News Sunday on FNC averaged a combined 3,168,000 viewers and 593,000 in the demo.
Face the Nation is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 57.83 percent of the country.
