CBS’s Face the Nation was the most-watched Sunday morning public affairs show last week, which followed a big night for moderator John Dickerson who hosted the GOP candidates for a debate Saturday night. FTN was No. 1 in viewers and the A25-54 demo. NBC’s Meet the Press with Chuck Todd was second, and continues to hold the season-to-date lead in the demo.
Fox News Sunday, with first-time guest Sen. Bernie Sanders, had its biggest audience since November, and its most-watched in the demo since March, 2014. FNS was also No. 1 in the Washington D.C. market.
Al Punto did not air due to Univison’s coverage of Pope Francis’s visit to Mexico.
Face the Nation is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 57.83 percent of the country.
