Randi Subarsky will join CNN Worldwide as vice president of development, reporting to EVP for content development and strategy Susan Bunda. Subarsky’s role wlll be to develop news programming across multiple platforms, using new technology and viewer outreach.
The newly created position will also put Subarsky in charge of overseeing talent recruitment, special projects and cross-platform initiatives.
Subarsky most recently worked for ABC Daytime as a senior executive and producer, as well as a coordinating producer for last year’s Daytime Emmy Awards. She previously worked as an executive producer and media consultant, working with clients from ABC, NBC and VIACOM.
“Randi’s an exceptional executive and producer with a strong background in producing high-flight programming, a record of success in establishing unique partnerships and a remarkable understanding of the digital space,” said Bunda in the CNN press release.
