The tit-for-tat between Bill O’Reilly and Stephen Colbert continued last night with Colbert addressing the Fox News host he considers “very dear” to him.
“Bill, baby doll, you’re of my ilk,” Colbert said to O’Reilly in response to O’Reilly saying “Colbert and others of his ilk have no bleeping clue how to fight Jihad.”
“That’s outrageous. Bill O’Reilly has to do his own bleeping? C’mon Rupert Murdoch, spring for the bleep machine. I got one here, watch: Bill O’Reilly is a f***cking egomaniac.” Colbert then added, “I don’t mean it.”
The dust-up between O’Reilly and Colbert resulted from Colbert mocking O’Reilly’s suggestion to have an anti-terror mercenary force paid for by coalition forces to fight terror groups like ISIS.
We’ll keep our eyes on “The O’Reilly Factor” tonight to see if O’Reilly has a response to his, as Colbert described it, “ilk-mate.”
