Squawk Box Shows Off New Street-Level Set Overlooking Times Square

By A.J. Katz

Did you watch Squawk Box this morning and wonder: “Hey, their set looks different.”

Well, today, for the first time, CNBC’s morning show came into your living room (or perhaps your workplace) sporting a new street-level set at the NASDAQ overlooking Times Square.

The new set is pretty unique in that it can be stored in its entirety within minutes – making way for the NASDAQ to open the Marketsite for Trading at 9:30 a.m. ET, just 30 minutes after the show ends.

The studio also features cutting-edge lighting, motorized trusses, and hydraulic floors, and the new anchor desk is comprised of 57 degree angles and almost looks as though it defies gravity!
