FNC’s Shepard Smith says he is “eternally grateful” for being given the chance to anchor Fox News political coverage on the Fox TV Network on Super Bowl Sunday. FOX Super Sunday is cleared to air in 90% of the country on Fox TV stations beginning at 10amET.

On Fox Report tonight Smith told viewers, “I will be hosting from Arizona. I’m not entirely sure what we’re going to do, but it’s getting me to the Super Bowl.”

The show will be packed with political programming given that FOX Super Sunday comes two days before Super Tuesday. In a press release Marty Ryan, EP of politics for FNC says, “Fox will bring together America’s two greatest passions — politics and football.”

“Hopefully the President will be on and like some football players and some cheerleaders,” Smith said on his program. “Should be great.” Smith will be joined by co-hosts Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelly as well as political reporters from Fox News and Fox TV affiliates covering the candidates.
