Fox News @ Night anchor Shannon Bream “Marveled” at the response she received from a Sunday evening tweet.
In the tweet, Bream told the story of an 11-year old boy named Emilio. According to the Fox Newser, the boy only has a few days left to live, and hopes to receive a greeting from at least one of cast members from The Avengers before his passing.
Need your help Twitterverse – trying to help a young boy who is dying. He probably has just days and all he want is a greeting from one of the Avengers. If you have a celeb connection, please let me know. Otherwise, could you help out with a RT? Thank you in advance!

Bream’s tweet received roughly 29,000 retweets, and with an assist from CNN anchor Jake Tapper, Bream was able to get far more than one Avengers cast member to provide the boy with a video shout out.
Thank you, EVERYONE! Major progress has been made because of you. A special assist coming in from @jaketapper ?? I guess Twitter can be full of love when someone really needs it. https://t.co/9tdQMdCGDB

I’m more of a “Reserve Avenger”. But happy to help. DM me.

I’m the purple one. DM me.

This is the kind of thing that restores faith in humanity – three Avengers’ messages have made it to Emilio, two more are on the way. Again – huge thank you to @jaketapper for helping to get this thing off the ground – and to everyone who RT’d and shared contacts. God bless! https://t.co/lEM94eyEWE

*UPDATE (Weds., March 28): There appears to be bad news from Bream.
Twitterverse, young Emilio has lost his fight. Thank you to the thousands who pitched in so that he could hear from some of his heroes in his last days. You lit up his hospital room and blessed his family. Emilio’s simple request launched an avalanche of goodness and miracles. https://t.co/lEM94eyEWE
