NBC News correspondent Mara Schiavocampo has been named the anchor of the early-morning NBC program “Early Today,” which airs at 4 AM ET and MSNBC’s early news show “First Look,” which airs at 5 AM ET.
She will continue in her role as a correspondent, contributing to all of the NBC News platforms and programs.
Schiavocampo started at NBC in 2007 as the digital correspondent for “NBC Nightly News,” taking on wider correspondent duties in 2010.
She starts next week on the early news programs. Lynn Berry, who currently anchors the programs, is moving on tweeting the following:
