Update: 5:38am: On Thursday, MSNBC’s 9pm hour was called Scarborough Country. But Friday, the show had a different look and name: Scarborough Reports.
The hour’s theme was “Hip-Hop-Crisy?” This isn’t the first time MSNBC has used a different name for the show.
“Scarborough Reports is a collection of pretaped pieces of recent interviews dealing with one topic. New segments were pretaped Friday afternoon. Joe doesnt usually have a show on Friday nights, but they wanted something for tonight,” an e-mailer says. Also: “This Monday Scarborough Country is back in name… AND will unveil all new graphics and music. The director was fine tuning the animations, chyrons, music and banners this evening…”
