In his new prime-time show Chris Cuomo is promising to “get after it.” And he did last night in a wide-ranging interview with White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
The interview was meant to coincide with President Tump’s 500 days in office, but, naturally, it got to the heart of Sanders’—and by extension the president’s—relationship with the White House press corps and the media at large.
Here are a few clips ranging from her honesty, to the combative nature of the press briefings, to whether she’s enjoying the job.
Important question from @ChrisCuomo to @PressSec on #CuomoPrimeTime: “Do you believe that this is sustainable — this dynamic where we come at you with questions about what’s true and what isn’t and those questions don’t get answered?” https://t.co/cxzEepNJLF
