Robins’ Next Move — Paley Center for Media

J. Max Robins, the former EIC of industry trade Broadcasting & Cable who left in August, has a new gig. Robins will serve as VP and executive director of the Paley Center for Media’s Media Council and International Council, effective April 7.

“Throughout his career, Max has remained at the cutting edge of the ever-changing media landscape, as evidenced in his work as an innovative editor and respected commentator on the industry,” said Pat Mitchell, president and CEO of The Paley Center in the press release. “His insight, and proven leadership abilities, will be a tremendous asset to the organization.”

The councils bring together top executives in the industry to, “discuss and define the future of media and its role in society.”
