Rita: ABC Staffers Equipped With Hazardous Material Suits & Respiratory Masks

In the aftermath of Katrina, networks are taking more precautions to protect their staffers along the Gulf Coast as Rita comes ashore. “ABC is equipping its crews with hazardous material suits in case they’re faced with the same toxic sludge that was around New Orleans,” the AP notes. “They have new respiratory masks, too.”
