| Earlier this month, CBS managed to woo Katie Couric of NBC’s ‘Today’ show to the CBS News division as Dan Rather’s successor. Everyone is wondering whether she can revitalize the evening-news segment of television. What do you think? First, we think it was very innovative to bring Katie Couric onto the ‘CBS Evening News.’ I’m not so much concerned about the evening-news category. I’m concerned about ‘CBS Evening News.’ She can certainly revitalize that. However, there’s a second thing that people haven’t grasped.
