Record Number Watch Super Tuesday on Cable. CNN Comes In First

CNN’s Super Tuesday coverage takes the night in Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo. In prime time (8p-11pET) CNN had 3.646M Total Viewers and 1.526M in the A25-54 demo (live +SD). FNC was second (3.493M / 1.094M). MSNBC was third (2.118M / 1.029M). This is the largest audience for Super Tuesday since records began with the 1996 race.

In another metric (6p-1amET / live only) CNN also came in first. CNN averaged 3.054M Total Viewers and 1.304M in A25-54 for the seven hours. FNC was second with 2.644M / 861K. MSNBC trailed with 1.722M / 801K.
