Recognizing The “Professionalism & Bravery Of CBS’ Female Correspondents”

By Brian

An e-mailer writes: “While I’m always impressed by anyone willing to go overseas and report from the middle of a conflict, I’ve been blown away by the poise, professionalism and bravery of CBS’s female correspondents of late: Lara Logan, Elizabeth Palmer, Sheila MacVicar and most notably Kim Dozier. She’s been their most solid and consistent correspondent in Iraq, and a truly unsung hero of the business. But what impresses me more is that from the interviews I’ve seen, women are running CBS’s Baghdad bureau behind the scenes as well: the producer that is now with Dozier in Germany is a female, as is another one still back in Iraq. Kudos to them.”
