The ratings for part I of CNN’s Planet in Peril are in. Bookended by live breaking news coverage of the California wildfires the 2-hour doc (9p-11pET) drew 532,000 A25-54 viewers (live+ SD), placing it first for the time period. 1.57M total viewers (live+ SD) watched, finishing second behind FNC’s Hannity & Colmes and On The Record.

Part II airs tonight at 9pmET. CNN Observations reports the 4-hour doc will be repeated Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
