Yesterday, Dan Rather accused CBS of dumbing down and tarting up the news. This morning, Les Moonves accused Rather of being sexist. Now Rather says Moonves is just trying to “change the subject.”
“This isn’t about Katie Couric. It has nothing to do with her gender. And anybody who reads what I wrote and what I said knows that that’s true,” Rather said on FNC’s Your World today.
“…What he’s trying to do is change the subject. I find it insulting and I find it disappointing. That’s a better word, disappointing.”
