Q3 Ratings: MSNBC Beats HLN In Total Day

MSNBC is back to third place in the cable news wars. In the third quarter of 2005, MSNBC averaged 300,000 viewers in total day, up 43% from the previous quarter. Headline News averaged 267,000 viewers, up 20%%. In the 25-54 demographic, MSNBC had 132,000 and HLN had 114,000.
