NBC and ABC are both proud of their weekend morning show ratings for Q1.
For the quarter, not only did NBC’s Weekend Today easily top Weekend GMA and CBS Saturday Early Show — but it also topped the weekday Early Show in total viewers and the demo. It also topped weekday GMA in the men 25-54 demo, NBC says.
ABC says GMA’s Saturday and Sunday editions were the “only weekend morning programs to gain in both total viewers and adults 25-54.”
For the first quarter of 2007:
Saturday:
Total viewers: NBC: 4,200,000 / ABC: 2,660,000 / CBS: 1,930,000
25-54 demo: NBC: 1,800,000 / ABC: 1,150,000 / CBS: 770,000
Sunday:
Total viewers: NBC: 3,770,000 / ABC: 2,440,000 / CBS: 4,940,000
25-54 demo: NBC: 1,550,000 / ABC: 1,080,000 / CBS: 1,930,000
