Pope Funeral: 7 Hours Of CNN

Anderson Cooper, Christiane Amanpour and Bill Hemmer in Rome and Soledad O’Brien in New York will lead CNN’s coverage of the Pope’s funeral on Friday morning.

It will air from a “specially built set from the rooftop of the Collegio Urbano overlooking St. Peter’s Square.” CNN has deployed more than 100 staffers to cover the funeral.

Seven hours of wall-to-wall coverage begins at 3 a.m. “CNN will replay the coverage at 7 p.m. within its prime-time weekday programming and again at 11 p.m.”
