Political Interference Behind A Rejected Interview Request By CNBC?

A CNBC non-interview could come up at tomorrow’s House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform’s hearing about “allegations of political interference with the work of government climate change scientists.”

Last October, CNBC asked for an interview with a NOAA scientist who believes there is some connection between global warming and the number or intensity of hurricanes.

The request was denied by the Department of Commerce (which oversees NOAA) and committee chairman Henry Waxman isn’t happy about it. Broadcasting & Cable has the full story…
