Places for the Race

By SteveK

Jossip reports that Today show senior producer Noah Oppenheim is being tapped to EP the new 6pmET MSNBC program, Race to the White House with David Gregory (the New York Observer earlier reported Oppenheim’s involvement with the new show).

Insiders tell TVNewser that Oppenheim will not EP the show — in fact, the show may go without an official executive producer. The MSNBC veteran will, however, quarterback the launch of Gregory’s new program while continuing to run the 7am hour of Today. Some of the current producers of Tucker will stay on to work on Race for the White House.
