People Keep Talking About Anderson Cooper, But No One Is Listening

“Seems we’re devoting an awful lot of time and energy lately to TV people that relatively few of us take the time and energy to actually watch on TV,” Phil Rosenthal says. He points to Conan O’Brien, Stephen Colbert, and Anderson Cooper as three examples.
Referring to Cooper, Rosenthal writes: “The guy has a book coming out. He’s all serious looking on the cover of Vanity Fair. He has signed to contribute to “60 Minutes.” Hot stuff.”

But: “Anderson Cooper 360 was down 23 percent in total viewership and 36 percent among viewers between the ages of 25 and 54 in April from what Aaron Brown was doing in April 2005…”
