Peering Through The Times Square Windows, Watching “ABC x2”

Broadcasting & Cable editor J. Max Robins took a walk over to ABC’s Good Morning America set, and watched the network’s super-secret Nightline replacement pilot through the windows in Times Square. He saw an “ersatz smoky-nightclub set complete with a live jazz quintet, two thirtysomething co-hosts and a comedian.” The studio “looked like a T.G.I.F. version of a happening after-hours joint,” he said.
