“Our Anchors Aren’t Up To The Job”

Following up on this afternoon’s understudies post: “Brian and Katie rode to the rescue on Thursday, taking over from the regular MSNBC anchors during coverage of the London bombings,” a TVSpyer writes. “It was almost a good move. A better idea would have been for management to use a couple of MSNBC’s top talent as sort of ‘sub-anchors.’ Working with the network stars would have given the MSNBC folks credibility. Instead, by just having Brian and Katie there, you’re basically saying ‘our anchors aren’t up to the job.'”
