Shock: Stephen Colbert didn’t “steal” a microwave from FNC’s green room.
“We were well aware of it and entirely amused — it was all in good fun,” FNC spokeswoman Irena Briganti tells Eat the Press. “We honestly just thought the whole thing was hysterical.”
Friday’s Fox & Friends had fun with it though, showng the kitchen area of the green room covered with yellow police tape.
According to the LAT, Comedy Central is “sending over a replacement” microwave because Colbert “wants to keep O’Reilly’s microwave on his set, a memento of their day…”
