O’Reilly/Colbert: How The Deal Was Done

So how’d the Bill O’Reilly/Stephen Colbert showdown come together? In today’s NY Post, Factor EP David Tabacoff explains:

“Bill always wanted to talk to Colbert but we couldn’t book him for whatever reason.

Someone from [Colbert’s] show ran into Bill at a charitable event and asked Bill to come on.

Bill said, ‘I’ll come on [Colbert’s show] if he comes on my show.’

This seemed like a good way to do it.”
