On Public Affairs Shows in Jordan, Guests Bring Guns

Cable news and the Sunday public affairs shows here in the U.S. are occasionally criticized for the combative nature of the guests. As politicized as the U.S. may be right now, it could always be worse.

Take this debate on a public affairs show that aired on Jo Sat TV, a cable news channel in the country of Jordan. The debate became so heated that one of the guests, a Minister of Parliament, threw his shoe at another, and proceeded to pull a gun out of his belt.
