Today was a landmark day for Michaela Pereira. The former co-host of CNN’s New Day has embarked on a new journey as host of “Michaela,” a weekday morning news program that launched this morning on HLN. Pereira received a surprise, remote appearance towards the end of this morning’s premiere from a couple of old friends back on the East Coast (‘Michaela’ is in L.A.). Here’s a look:
