In CBS This Morning’s debut podcast, co-host Norah O’Donnell says “there are an increasing number of people who say ‘I’ve made the switch. For 20 years, I’ve watched this program, but I just can’t watch it anymore.’
“We focus on many stories around the world, which our counterparts don’t do,” O’Donnell said.
“This happens to all of us where people stop you on the street and say ‘I used to watch X, and now I watch you guys because I like to know what’s going on in the world,” said co-host Gayle King. “There’s no cooking segments, there’s no costumes, not that there’s anything wrong with that, it’s just not our sensibility here.”
