Via the Boston Globe: In Boston Monday, Katie Couric was asked whether Paris Hilton‘s jail sentence deserved space in the CBS Evening News.
“No,” Couric said to applause. “We have a precious amount of time on the CBS Evening News and I don’t think we need to ever utter the name Paris Hilton.”
