FishbowlDC’s Patrick Gavin notes the exchange between ABC News’ Martha Raddatz and Vice President Dick Cheney in their interview yesterday.
At the end of the lengthy interview, Cheney explains the difficulties of his job. “If I wanted to be loved, I ought to be a TV correspondent, not a politician,” he says.
“Believe me, we’re not always loved either,” responds Raddatz.

The interview touched on the 4,000 dead American soldiers in Iraq milestone, how to handle Hamas and the secrecy which Cheney has kept as VP.
