FNC topped the other cablers when news of the North Korean nuclear test broke Sunday night. Between 11pm Sunday and 2am Monday, FNC averaged 365,000 demo viewers, compared to 251,000 for CNN and 115,000 for MSNBC. Among total viewers, FNC averaged 825,000, nearly doubling CNN’s 464,000. MSNBC averaged 198,000.
FNC’s viewership peaked from midnight to 1am with 443,000 demo and 931,000 viewers. CNN peaked from 11pm to midnight with 293,000 demo and 547,000 viewers. MSNBC peaked from midnight to 1am with 129,000 demo and 212,000 viewers.
