Nightline Edges Letterman Again

ABC’s Nightline, which experienced another near-death write-up last week, edged CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman in Total Viewers for the week ending Jan. 30. The shows tied among younger viewers. NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno was first in both categories.

Last week, Nightline was up 18% compared to the same week last year. The show is up 23% first quarter to date. “Letterman” is down 8% and “Leno” is down 1% first quarter to date.
