I figured Howie would weigh in this morning: “Suddenly it’s double or nothing for ‘Nightline,'” he says, and describes three options: A “younger and hipper hour-long show, performed live at 11:35,” without Koppel; a traditional taped and edited Nightline that would expand to an hour; or a “sports or entertainment show.”
