Networks Call Wisconsin for Cruz, Sanders

Polls closed in Wisconsin at 9 p.m. ET, and while most cable and broadcast networks held back, Fox News and Fox Business made a quick call: giving the state to Bernie Sanders on the Democratic side.

In the Republican race, exit polls showed a lead for Ted Cruz, but not quite enough to make a quick call:

By 10 p.m. ET, both races had been called and Ted Cruz spoke to supporters, calling the night a “turning point” in his campaign to stop Donald Trump, who may have hoped for a better night after a bruising week.
