Neal Shapiro sent this message to the staff of the Today Show:
“I am writing to let you know about a change in the leadership of the Today show. I want to thank Tom Touchet for his tireless efforts and unwavering dedication to the program in his two and a half years as executive producer. After some well earned time off, I’ll be talking to him about other opportunities at NBC News.”
