NBC Upfront Doesn’t Mention 4th Today

What was missing from NBC’s upfront presentation yesterday? The planned fourth hour of Today. Its absence “left some media buyers scratching their heads,” the WSJ’s Brook Barnes blogs.

“So why the omission? While an NBC publicist said the network wanted to ‘focus on prime-time only’ in its pitch to media buyers, insiders note that the network doesn’t want to call attention to other parts of its schedule.
