We have yet to learn if Don Lemon will be dispatched into the elements in any form of “Blizzardmobile,” but for now, rest assured there will be a “Rokerthon.”
NBC announced Friday evening Al Roker would part of a special storm-related non-stop weather event, beginning Saturday at 6:30 a.m. ET. Whether Roker’s planning to set any world records remains unclear.
Previous “Rokerthons” included two world records–for longest continuous weather cast and another for forecasting the weather in each of the 50 states in just one week.
Blizzard editions are nothing new, however. Almost a year ago, Roker did his first Blizzard “Rokerthon” when snow hit the Northeast last January.
