The peacock put one color forward on Friday: purple.
“One thing you’re going to see a lot of is everybody wearing purple,” said Today co-host Hoda Kotb. “We are all wearing it, you guys, for Spirit Day to stand against bullying and show support for LGBTQ youth.”
NBC News programs and all of NBCU’s networks took part in the annual campaign. On CNBC, SquawkBox Europe co-anchors Steve Sedgwick and Karen Tso wore purple, as did NASCAR America co-hosts Carolyn Manno and Parker Kligerman on NBCSN.
