CBS News president Andrew Heyward talks to Paid Content about how the network will measure success for its new broadband initiatives: “We’re relatively small so I think there’s a lot of upside. We’ll see actual growth,” he says. But: “It would be shortsighted of us only to rely on the numbers. We’re going to have to look at multiple benchmarks,” including ad revenue. “We’re also going to have an economic benchmark, which will be, I think, encouraging and certainly we’ll see very quickly whether there’s acceptance.”
