MSNBC May Take Legal Action Against New CBS Producer

By Chris Ariens

MSNBC insiders tell TVNewser the network may take legal action against newly-hired CBS News political producer Jennifer Yuille. The insider tells me Yuille told MSNBC she asked to be let out of her contract because she was leaving “for a relationship overseas.” Her last day at MSNBC was July 27. Two weeks ago she was hired by CBS. We’ve learned Yuille did go overseas for about six weeks.

In an interesting twist, Yuille began her career as Rick Kaplan‘s assistant when he was running CNN. She moved on to MSNBC around the time that Kaplan took over running that network. Now she’s working with Kaplan again at CBS News.
