Morning Show Ratings: Week of Sept. 15 & Q3 2014

morningshowanchors2014In addition to winning the season, “Good Morning America” also wins the week and the just-finished 3rd quarter. But only “CBS This Morning” grew among total viewers compared to Q3 2013. The CBS morning show was up +5% in viewers, but down -4% in the A25-54 demo.

“Good Morning America” and “Today” were both down: “GMA” was down -3% in viewers and down less than 1% in the demo while “Today” was down -3% in viewers, and down -7% in the demo compared to Q3 2013.

For the week, “GMA” saw year-over-year growth of +3% in viewers and +7% in the demo. “Today” was flat in viewers and down -2% in the demo. “CBS This Morning” was up +5% in viewers and down -9% in the demo.

The averages for Q3 2014:

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 5.074M / NBC: 4.330M / CBS: 2.841M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 1.878M / NBC: 1.652M / CBS: 867K

The averages for the week of Sept. 15, 2014:

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 5.467M / NBC: 4.611M / CBS: 2.898M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 2.104M / NBC: 1.841M / CBS: 910K
