Last Wednesday the “Today” show had its first outright win in the mornings since last September. The once-dominant NBC show took both total viewers and the A25-54 demo for the day. But ABC’s “Good Morning America” won the week in both measurements. In fact, “GMA” is still seeing its largest season margins over “Today” — in both total viewers and the demo — since the 1991-92 season.
Compared to the same week last year — which was a week of multi-year highs — all three morning shows were down among total viewers and only “CBS This Morning” saw growth among total viewer: up +2% vs. last year.
The averages for the week of Jan. 26, 2015:

- A25-54 viewers: ABC: 2.084M / NBC: 2.002M / CBS: 1.147M
