morning show anchors_640Good Morning America wins another week in the mornings and did so with a +434,000 viewer lead on NBC’s Today show. Season-to-date, “GMA” is the No. 1 morning newscast in both viewers and the A25-54 demo. No 2. Today narrowed the quarter-to-date A25-54 gap with GMA by a 164,000 viewers (84 percent), and the total viewer gap by 230,000 (36 percent). No. 3 CBS This Morning continues to show the most growth: up +12 percent in viewers and up +14 percent in the A25-54 demo vs. the same week last year.

The averages for the week of August 3, 2015:

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 4.471M / NBC: 4.037M / CBS: 3.196M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 1.582M / NBC: 1.499M / CBS: 930K
