Morning Show Ratings: Week of August 13

Good Morning America came within 120,000 viewers of #1 ranked the Today show last week. ABC says that’s the smallest total viewer gap between the two shows since the week of May 16, 2005. For its part, CBS says The Early Show was the only program to maintain its audience, while GMA and Today lost viewers year-over-year. CBS says Today was down 10% and GMA down 3% in households.

For the week of August 13:

Total viewers: NBC: 4,590,000 / ABC: 4,470,000 / CBS: 2,340,000

Households: NBC: 3.6/14 / ABC: 3.5/13 / CBS: 1.9/7

25-54 demo: NBC: 1.8/14 / ABC: 1.6/13 / CBS: 0.8/6
