Middle East Conflict: Anderson Stays

Maybe if I stare hard enough, they’ll stop fighting.

It’s easy to pick on Anderson Cooper‘s blue eyes, but let’s be serious for a sec. Almost every other anchor who visited the Middle East packed up and came home days (or weeks) ago, but CNN’s primetime host is still in the war zone.

He arrived in Israel on July 14, before any other prominent anchor, and he was the first primetime anchor to enter Beirut on July 20. He’s still in the region, and he’s expected to stay there for another week…
