Michael Eisner: Now At The Mercy Of Critics & Ratings

David Carr‘s impressions of CNBC’s Conversations with Michael Eisner: “Eisner has the basic blocking and tackling of television down, having come a long way from his widely panned outing as host of ‘The Wonderful World of Disney’ during the 80’s. There is a gestural elegance to his meaty paws that makes for good television, and his angular visage, a sort of animated version of those sculptures on Easter Island, is its own show.”

DisneyWar author James B. Stewart has a key quote in the piece: “I have to tip my hat to him. He has become the talent that he always had the upper hand over, and will now be at the mercy of journalists, critics and ratings.”
